Place of Hope Care: public HTML precheck, 22 September 2026

At 8.32 pm AEST on 22 September 2026 we retrieved three public pages from placeofhopecare.com.au and saved the raw HTML responses. Each page returned HTTP 200 and had a self-referencing canonical. We then checked the saved HTML for link targets and page headings.

Findings in the saved HTML
PageMalformed service or contact linksH1 element
Home (/)10None found
Services (/services/)6None found
About (/about/)2None found
Total18 occurrences, eight distinct destinationsNone on all three pages

Each malformed link repeated the scheme and doubled a slash, for example https://https://placeofhopecare.com.au//contact-us/. The eight destinations were the contact page, the services page and six individual service pages.

These results describe those three responses on that date, before any changes. The check did not crawl the site, test pages in a browser, or review accessibility or speed. It does not show the site's current state or any effect on rankings or enquiries. We kept the saved responses, retrieval times and SHA-256 hashes.

The proposed fix is to correct each affected link to its intended page with the website owner, recheck the raw HTML, then tap every changed link on desktop and mobile to confirm it reaches the right page and contact route.
